Our family of 11 had an awesome time here. The view from this property is spectacular! We spent hours on the balcony over looking the lake. The bbq was a plus. There is a firepit area where the grandkids enjoyed roasting marshmellows. This area also over looks the lake. The house is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Lots of kitchen utensil, pots, pans, grills, dishes etc. It is a short walk to lake access. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice place!

The location and access to the dock was awesome! The house worked great for our family size. We would plan to book the house every summer from now on except for the cleanliness issues. To be completely truthful the house was very dirty. We had to wipe down all the kitchen appliances when we arrived. Food smudges were on the stovetop and the oven appeared to have years of burned on food and grease The glass doors were covered with hand prints and smears. The carpets badly needed cleaning and the furniture needed wiping down from food and hand prints as well. Cleaning logs is a huge job and not one regular housekeepers have time for, but the logs were SO dusty throughout the house. The house has so much potential to be an amazing vacation rental, but the cleanliness issues really need to be addressed especially at the cost per night.

Gem Stone Enthusiasts

Our group is my husband's family which consists of four married couples and three singles. We enjoy the view, the multiple spaces for varied activities and conversations, and the large kitchen with room to all eat together in the dining room. The view is outstanding!We have stayed before and are already booked again for next year!

Highly Recommend!

The property is spacious, well appointed, and exactly as the description promises. My extended family found it perfect for a mid-winter getaway. There is plenty to occupy all ages: ice fishing, x-c and downhill skiing, ice skating and exploring Philipsburg, just hanging out at the rental working puzzles and playing hames..

Winter Retreat

This log home is perfect for family and friends to enjoy winter recreation around Georgetown Lake: fishing, x-c skiing, downhill at Disco. Exploring Philipsburg is fun in any season. Great kitchen, adequate sleeping spaces, but expect to bunk up after the big king and queen bedrooms are occupied. Kitchen gets 5 stars!

New Years Vacation

The house is beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been improved is the number of pillows on the beds and the towels in each bathroom. Maybe we didn’t search well enough for extra pillows and we did find more towels, but would have been nice to have stocked in each bathroom. The fireplace was amazing! As were the firework displays from the numerous neighbors!

Reunion

Had a blast with 8 classmates (Class of 1978) for a weekend of golf, biking, fishing and reminiscing. The place has a wonderful view over the lake and plenty of room in the kitchen. Bedrooms held the 9 of us quite nicely. Thank you!

Beautiful Lakeside

My gal friends and I had an incredible time here. It was an awesome jumping off point to drive to warm springs, Philipsburg, Granite Ghost Town, & gravel biking. The house had all the little things you needed, including towels for cleaning the kitchen, extra blankets, firewood, and other little things you wouldn't think to bring. I live in Bozeman, and this was a perfect getaway to meet-up with other friends from around MT.

Great house for our family!

We’ve stayed twice at this house for our annual family ski trip to Discovery. We love the large kitchen with enough dining table space. The pool table is a lot of fun for all ages! The three living room areas offer cozy visiting or large group gathering. It is cleaner than other rentals we’ve had in that area. Our only complaint is that one of the beds needs to be upgraded so that two people can actually sleep in it without rolling to the middle. A good night’s sleep is worth a lot on vacation. Other than that, all was great.
