Excellent value comfortable hotel

Spacious, comfortable room with shower and bath facilities and private parking. Excellent value for money. Only minor complaint is that being in a room at the end of the hotel, the WiFi reception was not good.

Cost friendly. Ok for an overnight stay. Room was supposed to be a deluxe double which only means you have a larger bed (this was two beds put together so you could feel the job) I needed to do some work and the floor sockets near the desk would not open so I had to move furniture. Walls paper thin you can hear conversations from the ext room. Corridors smell of sewage, toilet bowl needs a good clean. Big disappointment that you cannot use the garden which would have been safer for a female instead of having to stand on the Main Street Others kept leaving the out of hours fire door open allowing public access therefore a safety concern.

The staff were extremely welcoming even though we were early. There was safe accessible parking, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the showers powerful. It was all we could have hoped for and at a very reasonable price. Thank you to everyone at The R Inn, Hotel.

The property itself was ok, but considering the amount of rooms there’s no 24hr coverage on Reception after 21.00. If anything was to happen you would have to call the number on the card which is your key entry, it also advertises bar and grill but we never found a bar or grill to eat or drink on the premises.

Hotel rooms was clean, functional and what was expected. The reception area is not manned all the time, but otherwise it was a perfectly nice place to stay and will happily recommend it.

The staff were extremely helpful & very friendly. Unfortunately I didn’t sleep very well due to the guest above our room, they were moving around throughout the night keeping me awake. Apart from that I couldn’t fault anything else

Brilliant Find

The R Inn has obviously been refurbished recently and I stayed 1 night at a brilliant price in their more expensive room. It isnt huge and from outside it is an obvious refurbishment but inside it is spotlessly clean, well laid out and well signposted. The room was super clean, plenty of space for clothes etc and a shower room which was super clean and perfectly functional in every way. Shower was excellent. On arrival the male receptionist was smiling and courteous. His instructins to us with regard to hours etc were clear. This hotel for me was perfect and it was not expensive so a super find. The place was very quiet and it was a Saturday night !

Basic but great value

Super helpful - waited for me to arrive (late) I must read properly as I it said manned reception which I did assume meant there was someone on reception 24/7 and it was only manned to 9pm after this the main doors are locked & access id through a "fire door" - this fire door banged every time anyone used it!! so i was awake at 6am very good value for money - great for those working
