The shower was awful. Barely any water coming out of the shower and it was either freezing or burning! I complained on first night, they assured it would be fixed or we would move rooms. Neither happened. I was then promised a one night refund. Am now back in England and they are refusing the refund, correctly going through complaint emails!!

This hotel was an excellent choice for my mom and my sister. The location is perfect for the metro and must see places. The hotel itself was beautiful and staff was all helpful. Want to give a credit to Meldia, for helping my mom and my sister.

Basic hotel

I’ll start with the not so good. The aircon gets turned off for winter so an only heating option for the aircon units. Our room was 26.5• and was baking with no way to cool it other than opening a very large window which was noisy and quite frankly scary not to fall out of. The bathroom was even hotter. We did complain and was moved to another room but that still wouldn’t cool down past 22•. Small paper cups were supplied for tea and coffee which were a joke to use and if like me you like more than one cup a challenge to clean out. The walls are paper thin hearing all what was happening around you and hard floors in the rooms means we listened to the delightful sound of furniture being dragged about at all hours. Now the good. The staff were very polite and helpful with the room situation.

Hotel refused to provide a room as I showed up at noon and their posted check-in time is 3pm. Now I've traveled to 90 countries and stayed in over 500 hotels in the past 30 yrs. Almost every hotel I've booked has allowed paying customers to check-in early if they have rooms available. Also, I was told NONE of the rooms have mini-refrigerators. I have medication that requires to be chilled so I had to get creative. Lastly, the staff was frappin' snooty. Apparently they think a great deal about themselves.
