The best nights' sleep I have had in a long time. What an incredible hotel. Pack your swimmers, even if it's a work trip, and utilise the incredible leisure floor to wash the day away. Incredible.

The Star prides itself for delivering excellent customer service. From the time we arrived we were welcomed by Emma at the Front desk; she is an asset to the property. Professional and personable. The GM Hotel sent us a personalized note with a complementary bottle of wine. Very impressed with the level of excellence displayed by all team members.

The location is fantastic, ideal for both CBD dining and (because of the pedestrian bridge) for Southbank. I really liked the furnishings and the views impressed me every time I entered the room. The shared facilities (gym, heated pools) were excellent and not at all busy. The staff were very helpful. Parking was convenient although, as usual for the CBD, not particularly cheap. The room itself was relatively cheap although I suspect low prices will not last when people realise the teething troubles have all been resolved.

Amazing hotel with all the facilities you need. Great views of Southbank and easy access to the city. Clean rooms with inclusive mini fridge and bar snacks. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Brisbane!

Very pleasant overnight stay. Easy walk to Southbank and qpac via the Neville Bonner footbridge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room spacious. Quite a firm bed.
