Brandal is a destination with stacks of cool stories to tell. If you reckon your life's been a bit humdrum lately, a trip here is the perfect answer!

It's located 380 kilometres to the northwest of Norway's capital, Oslo.

Keen to see what nearby Sula has on offer? Found 11 kilometres to the east, Alesund Aquarium is one of its most frequented attractions.

Be sure to see Hellesylt Beach, 55 kilometres to the southeast.

You don't have to be stuck inside a car all day to soak up some nature. Just 17 kilometres out of Brandal, the Runde Environmental Centre is a favourite spot to kick back and unwind. Even more tranquil surrounds are waiting for you at Hike to Kverve, 11 kilometres away.

What could be more fun than chanting yourself hoarse at a soccer match? See the Aalesunds FK battle it out at Color Line Stadium, located in Alesund, 12 kilometres away. Alternatively, get swept up in the exciting atmosphere of a live home game with the Fortuna Ålesund.

Drink in the views from the chairlift at Skitours in Romsdalen as you plot your next run. Alongside Volda Ski Centre, this snowy playground offers some of the best skiing in the region.

Remember to visit other close-by attractions, such as the Sunnmore Golf Club and Ulstein Church. You will find them 5 kilometres south in Hareid. Don't want to call it a day just yet? The Alesund Museum and the Jugendstilsenteret are in Alesund, 11 kilometres to the northeast of Brandal.
