When traveling west on Crescent Beach, 700 Crescent Beach is at the end off the street. DO NOT USE THE ESPERANZA ROUTE TO GET TO OUR PLACE TAKE THE TOWNSNED RD ROUTE. Turn into the long driveway that brings you up our private little place sheltered with large trees. Children have referred to our place as a tree house. The original building was built 1910. The living room is surrounded with the original large windows that swing open. You can sit in the living room in privacy listening to many different birds or go down to the beach and onto platform dock where you can sit and look at the beautiful view down the lake. Our beach is shallow water, perfect for children, even toddlers. There is a newer kitchen that is spacious and convenient. There are stairs down to a deck and then stairs down to the beach. We also have a tram that brings you down to the beach. The beach has a fire pit for an evening fire. There is also a walk you can take to the Keuka Lake State Park, walking on the private road behind our cottage to Esperanza Rd and into the park. We offer three sit on Kayaks along with life jackets. Paddle to the end of Crescent Beach to marshy lands where you may see a Heron take flight. Here you will also find the entrance to Sugar Creek, paddle up the creek and find turtles basking in the sun or catch a peek at a beaver's dam. Our place offers a unique experience for those who want an escape to nature without ties to the modern world.
Make yourself comfortable in your cottage, featuring a refrigerator and a microwave. There's a private patio. The bathroom has a shower.Conveniences include a coffee/tea maker and a sofa bed.

Additional family location
We used the property mostly for extra housing for family, so we did not take full advantage of the amenities. The property was nice. We are new to VRBO, so we did not realize that we would need to supply our own towels and linens. There was no a/c, Wi-Fi, or other electronics. This lack did not pose a problem. The days were warm, but the fans cooled off the bedrooms nicely. Overall, we would rent the property again should the family need arise.

Great relaxing time. The best screened in porch is actually the living room with windows on three sides. It feels like being in a tree house. Well equipped kitchen inside and barbeque set up outside. Many places to sit and ponder inside and out. The beach was clean, water was great.

Really neat place, and love location. Only downside was having to supply linens. Not used to traveling from Colorado and bring linens...all else was super....

The kitchen and bathroom were very accommodating, the upstairs would not have been able to be used, with no air conditioning it would not have been usable and downstairs bedroom was uncomfortable even with windows open and fans. The tram was a major plus going down to the lake and the dock was very perfect for the boat. Being able to bring our dogs was a very big plus and we were happy to have that option.

A wonderful way to experience Keuka
We had such a wonderful long weekend staying at this historic cottage tucked up in the trees. We loved the deck, dock (with umbrellas!), and beach area, and our dog loved swimming and exploring. Access to the state park is great. The house stayed cool, the bed is comfortable, and the location is perfect. We will be back

Cal, relaxing
Everything we needed for a stay, no ac, but lots of fans to help bring in the cool of the outside.

Relaxing Weekend
The cottage was in a good location to get to things around Keuka and Seneca lakes. Having access to the water was a great plus. The host gave very good directions for how to find the driveway to the cottage and the best road to take to get to it as it was a bit hidden and Google maps always directed to go on a different road. We also enjoyed the lack of TV/electronics as it was a good way to enjoy the scenery and unplug for the weekend. We did have to bring our own linens and towels which would have been nice to know when booking but otherwise not a big issue. Overall a great place and lovely weekend.

Great place and great location
They had everything you could think of and the place was clean. So peaceful and a great place to catch up with friends. The tram down to the beach was a life saver. Hope to return!

Nice getaway
Enjoyed a pleasant few day getaway. Although the tram is a nice addition, the steps down to the water were far less than we've experienced at other places on the lake. So we didn't use the tram much, but I can see that under slippery conditions the tram would be a safer option. All in all we had a comfortable stay and the property we found to be very much as described. Thank you!

Super relaxing!
My wife and I met up w/ friends from out of state that we hadn't seen in a while, and this was the perfect place to have a relaxing weekend together. The house being up in the trees gave it a really quiet vibe, and being able to get down to the dock to swim was easy. Teresa and Joan were responsive and helpful hosts, and we look forward to going back!
