Nice employees but horribly dirty, inadequate room

The service is friendly but the accommodations were gross. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke, my bed comforter was burned, may e from a cigarette. The bathroom had mold behind the toilet and dry rot. The carpeys smelled bad. It needs more updating and renovations.

Nothing I like, really. Just 1 night staff. No extra towels when needed. No free parking. Non-working lamp, room stayed dark whole night because no one was available to fix it. Rooms had bad smell. Will never want to come back, thank you.

The woman working the front desk at night was excellent! She went above and beyond to be accommodating and make the stay more enjoyable. The room and towels did not seem super clean but it also did not feel dirty. The elevator kept going out of order but was quickly fixed. Seems understaffed but it had what we needed for a two night stay and the water view was nice.

We liked how easy it was to get around. We did not like the mildew smell. The smell was so bad. We asked to switch rooms and we did. The 1st room was very damp and humid and the air conditioning kept shutting off.. the 2nd room also smelled and the shower was scolding hot and was very out dated. The bathroom door squeezed and the air in there wasnt that great either. Staff was very nice and helped us get around. The area was very nice by the water. But we spent a lot of money on the rooms and they were very clean but needed major updating and mildew removal.

They charge you for parking once you get there even though they have a parking lot. Room was not what was described. Receptionist could not have cared less when we brought it up

College Tour Summer

The staff was very nice upon arrival. Our first room didn't have hot water and they were quick to move us to another room. The second room was a little loud, but we were across from the elevator. There was an issue where the police showed up, but other than hearing the police outside out door, it didn't have any impact on us. We used the laundry room, those services were all fine. The continental breakfast was average, we enjoyed that there was instant oatmeal available all day. The coffee was okay also. We did not use any other services of the hotel. It was in walkable distance to the transit center which we used every day. Overall we had no issues and would stay there again.
