Your last proper vacay feel like it was years ago? No worries — book a ticket to Bosen and you'll be away in a jiffy!

Make your way approximately 40 kilometres north of Bosen and you'll reach the lively streets of Saarbruecken.

Mother Nature's artwork is on full display around Bosen. Just 18 kilometres away, Erbeskopf is a good place to start. Saarland Therme sits 50 kilometres away and is another popular spot to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Be sure to pack some red and black clothes so you can cheer on the football team, the Saarland Hurricanes, at Ludwigspark Stadion. Located 35 kilometres away in Saarbruecken, the venue is also the home ground of the 1. FC Saarbrücken.

What about heading over to Bostalsee Lake? It's a great way to spend some time.

Venture outwards and see what's going on in Achtelsbach, 6 kilometres to the north. Plenty of travellers come here for Natural Park Saar-Hunsrück and Nationalparkamt Hunsrück-Hochwald. Alternatively, Nonnweiler is 9 kilometres to the northwest of Bosen. Stop at this locality for convenient access to Castle Grimburg and St. Bartholomaeus Kirche.

Both tourists and locals often make the journey to Kasel. This place is 30 kilometres to the northwest and pretty close to the Fell Exhibition Slate Mine, the Dr. Carl von Schubert Wines and the University of Trier. If you're staying on a little while, remember to visit Park Nells Landchen and Wasserturm im Ausbesserungswerk.

Try to knock down the communication barrier by learning to say a few greetings and expressions in the local tongue.
