Book Bombardone hotels

Situated 15mins walk from city centre, 10 mins from train station. Clean rooms, bedding ok (extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe). Friendly staff although we didn’t see them much. Kitchen facilities and common rooms (we didn’t use). Would definitely recommend and use again. Only downside was cost of coffee from the vending machines, bit expensive.

Good location. Front reception staff was grumpy late at night. Everybody else in the hotel was nice and accommodating especially the kitchen/breakfast who offered coffee. Ciao.

Great stay as usual. This is a very relaxed and peaceful getaway. Ahmed is a great host and the homely evening dinner on offer is an excellent no brainer after a long day at the office. Cannot wait to return.

Everything is good

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel, as our stay was very disappointing. The staff were very friendly, and I’m genuinely sorry if this review upsets them, but I cannot be dishonest about the property itself. I initially intended to give a score of 2/10, but revised it to 4/10 because the breakfasts were quite good, and the room cleaning provided by housekeeping was also very well done. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. The temperature in both the room and the corridors was uncomfortably high—it felt close to 30°C. The hotel is marketed as a 4-star property, but in reality it felt more like a 2-star hotel. The biggest issue is the noise: it was extremely loud at night, making it nearly impossible to get proper sleep. The food in the restaurant was also very poor. Even simple dishes, such as baked potatoes, were undercooked and seemed as though they had been prepared in a microwave.
