It’s expensive but nice
The 14th century Bolton Castle can be visited in Yorkshire England. Mary Queen of Scots stayed here during her imprisonment. The rooms within still resemble how they once did over 500 years ago. The castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of the Yorkshire countryside. Birds of Prey displays including owls and Falcons can be viewed from the gardens.

Wonderfully clean and comfortable cottage.
The hosts are exceptional with so many thoughtful touches. Dishwasher tables, washing pods, washing up liquids in the kitchen and toiletry products in the bathroom enhanced our stay. The cottage is in a great location for local walks and we exploredlocal castles and waterfalls.

Located in Leyburn, this cottage is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Bolton Castle and Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The cottage is so lovely and cosy. It had everything we needed. A great base for walks and only a 10 to 15 minutes walk to the local village pub, which we would recommend. Another excellent choice for food was The Wheatsheaf Inn at Carperby. Any questions we had were answered by our host. She was ...
