Wonderful stay at Capital Hotel.

It was a pleasure staying at Capital Hotel. The room was quiet, clean, and well stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was fabulous every day and for Mother's Day the brunch was spectacular. The service was constant, attentive and courteous. We had a theft incident one night outside of the hotel and the staff called the Tourist Police and had the officers come over to report the theft and take our testimony. Their help was really appreciated. All the hotel staff was polite and helpful. Will definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend.

I like the Staff was friendly and nice. Good food. The breakfast buffet was good. Everything was very clean. Safety area. Don't like the room. The bathroom was so small that once the door was opened it reaches the shower. Location was pretty far from my interest points and all noises from the outside could be heard in the room. Overall is a good option.

Hotel front desk staff at checking was very friendly. Unfortunately, we waited at the airport for an hour and a half for shuttle that never arrived because information of transportation was not updated. The staff was unmoved about the inconveniences and blamed Expedia for the error. We weren’t even offered a comp for this issue of having to pay an uber to get to the hotel and no comp for being VIP package customers. Concierge was excellent with treatment of my family. Rooms were as described and pictures on website, no AC, but climate makes up for it. Room service was excellent that night, food was delicious and very local cuisine. Unfortunately, breakfast buffet staff were not as welcoming or centered on client experience, felt like a highway roadside hotel’s continental breakfast. Hotel offered no orientation about places to see or reputable tour companies. No safety or location layout orientation either. Unfortunately, if we returned to Bogota we would seek accommodation elsewhere.

El hotel necesita mantenimiento. El elevador no para en el piso del lobby y te lleva por todo el hotel hasta que por fin funciona el botón de ese piso. Las habitaciones necesitan tener climatización independiente para poder controlar la temperatura directamente en cada habitación. El baño no tiene puerta que divida la habitación, cuando compartes hab com alguien más es incómodo esto. Deben dejar cobijas adicionales en los clóset.

The staff are friendly and were patient with my very limited Spanish. Most staff spoke English. The room was clean and large with great balcony access. The bed was more firm than I like but it was fine. Room service was nice with vegetarian options. Airport shuttle was a smooth process and ride.
