Large and comfortable room in the heart of the city - close to castle, grocery and restaurants. Beds and shower were very good and room had a large sitting area.

I attended on UTS2026 as a volunteer and a competitor. This hotel is about 5 mins by walking to the start line of the race. The room was clean and had almost everything I wanted. I only missed a bath tub that I wanted to use after the race, but I only got a shower. The staff were very helpful and polite. The breakfast was also fantastic. This was my 2nd time in the Royal Victoria Hotel. I am sure I will be back for another visit next year as I have an unfinished business with the race as I DNFed.

What an amazing place. We loved it here and were sad to leave. Ben and Katie made us feel really welcome and the cottage was so homely we settled right in. Great location as first base for walking Anglesey Coastal Path - with great birdlife on the doorstep. Couldn’t have been better and greatly recommended. Many thanks to you both!

We arrived on a Thursday and where amazed at the Chateau's architecture, the staff where very welcoming and the room had a fantastic view of the Menia Strait, we looked at the sample menu the staff told us to download but it didn't really appeal to us so we ate at the Four Crowns ( recommended) later we retired to or room for a restful night, the breakfast was very nice though, unfortunately the following night wasn't so restful, there was a reception for - I'm guessing a Wedding, the live music started at 8pm and lasted until 3.20am, I didn't get any sleep until turned 4am, this has completely ruined the stay at the Chateau and won't be returning, at over £330 a night to stay here the bear minimum I would expect is sleep, I think it's just bad management as we were not warned there would be noise, I think the Chateau needs to dedicate the entire building to Weddings so the only people disrupted are the wedding guests themselves and not other paying guests
