Book Blue Bay hotels

Perfect location for a relaxed holiday by the Indian ocean. This boutique hotel is small but beautifully appointed, with great facilities. The Bang On The Beach room offered incredible views across the bay out to the reefs. We were lulled to sleep every night by the waves and woken up every morning by the sunrise over the sea. Perfection. And that easterly sea breeze meant no mosquitos too, which is very welcome for a tropical location! The food and service were all impeccable. Special mention to Heeroo who was very attentive and looked after us every day with exemplary service on the beach or by the pool. Tek Tek was fantastic, Dev and Ravi put on a great night with exceptional food. Although we were on the All Inclusive package we were glad we spent a little extra for that, well worth the price (which is very reasonable coming from the UK/Europe). Overall the food was fantastic. Lots of options to choose from on the All Inclusive package and plenty of others if you fancy splashing out a bit more. We were lucky to be there for Salt's 7th anniversary and were treated to a unique special menu. We'll definitely be back to Mauritius and will almost certainly stay at Salt of Palmar again.

Warning is a big red flag They are advertising this property with a kitchen fully equipment When I got there all was a lie no washing machine not even pan to cook no chopping board no knife no Internet I have to wait for 48 hours before the Internet property smell like a sewage drain problem toilet paper they give you like in half use is lot more is endless complain I end up doing a shopping unnecessary shopping just to survive my 11 days You have no privacy they watching you all the time, even if being a guest for drink or dinner they wanna charge you And they have this policy if you are tourist, you have to pay Tax 3€ euro per day per person is something they made up and they blame the government for that and that they didn’t put in the advertising is lot of hidden cost be careful They have the right idea, but the wrong way running the business you gonna be end up having stress? You don’t need so do yourself a favour do not go stay there. And is not cheap if I was cheap you can consider living there I have every request with Expedia for your reputation. You should ban this people on your site. A lesson need to be learn. Very quick to take your money but you will never get a refund. I tried all I couldn’t do nothing so I had to stay. 11 day of hell And ya Mauritius is such a beautiful place, but people like that give a bad reputation and a bad experience holiday thank God is over. Beautiful resort, great restaurants (choice and quality of food) and very friendly staff.

A short overnight stop close the airport. The room was clean and comfy and the staff very helpful. Just meters from the beach at blue bay which was an unexpected delight.

Friendly staffs , ready to assist , breakfast menu should be alternated daily and dinner buffet at 2,500 Mauritius currency per each adult was quite high.

Convenient location for the airport & as a base to visit the area. The beach shuttle is a great facility & gives you the opportunity of relaxing for a day or 2 on arrival or before travelling home. Rooms are spacious & clean. Staff were friendly, efficient & always available if you required anything. Restaurant food quality was very good both for breakfast & evening.
