Book Bjørkelangen hotels

This is a very nice hotel for anyone attending the conference centre, and the shortest walk possible from the train station. I loved the breakfast and the general vibe. What I did not like, which bring down the score, are: 1) No one in my group of five could figure out how to change the room temperature, or turn off the humming air con at night. It whirred the whole night. 2) Bathroom amenities were no more than essential. No body lotion, no shower cap, no wash cloths, nothing but the very essential. This was disappointing. 3) Still the bathroom, which is actually a wet room. When you shower, the whole floor area gets wet. I had not seen any wet room pictures when looking at the website, and was sure I'd get a bathtub or large shower. 4) No drawers or closets for tidy unpacking. This said, the stay was pleasant. It's just that it's obviously geared for practical, as opposed to relaxing or indulgent. Which is what I was hoping for.

Hotel in general was very clean, my room had everything needed and clean and comfortable. Breakfast had an excellent selection of food for all diets. The location was excellent and had shops within walking distance and good restaurants also. Definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Not bad

Automated check-in did not work properly, we had to call hotel's helpline. The operator was very friendly and helpful and the issue was quickly resolved. The apartment as such was perfect.

This was an odd property, more like a hostile or a room rental in a person's home than a hotel, but it served my needs, it was clean, safe, and was conveniently located for being far from Oslo (only a 10 minute direct train to downtown). My only issue was that I didn't receive any the check-in instructions with the key box code prior to my arrival; the issue was addressed quickly, but I had to make an international call (since I live in the US) to resolve it. I would consider staying here again.
