The Taylors day at Drayton Manor

I have stayed lots of times for business over the last year as its a lovely hotel with air conditioned rooms for a very reasonable price. I took my family last night for the first time last night as its unfair i have been to drayton manor and my children haven’t (the kids words not mine). Me and my wife have 4 children making hotel stays difficult, i thought i had got adjoining rooms when booking and after a phone call last week to check this was arranged, i was told there was none available and since i booked through a third party there wasn’t any available, bit disappointed we went to the theme park and decided to have 2 children each in our separate rooms! While checking in i told this to a lovely gentleman man on reception who quickly gave me another option they would upgrade one of our rooms complimentary so we could have a adjoining room and finish our day at the park together as a family at the hotel. 1 million % i will be stay there again both for family and for work purposes.

Thoroughly good stay from check in to check out. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Meal and drinks prices were reasonable for a hotel and of good quality. Beds comfortable and rooms well equipped. Peaceful setting and we loved the woodland play areas out the back.

Family break.

Very convenient for the park. Our grandson loved the Thomas theme. Couple of small problems with the room but someone came straight away when we called. Breakfast good. Interconnected rooms were really good. Crazy golf a little tired but free!

Ripoff

No room service during the stay. Plug sockets loose in walls. Aircon would not turn off so was freezing. Could smell smoke during our stay. No help available usingthe phone provided. The staff were drinking alcohol on shift instead and after multiple calls unanswered i could not even recieve first aid after the thor ride closed on my back without any prior warning, hitting my spine resulting in pain and stiffness. Luckily this resided enough to complete the trip for the kids. Although the tenderness and muscular pain is still present i managed to persevere. Upon arrival i discovered access to the resort was extra even though id paid 300 to stay at the resort paying extra for access to the resort was not advertised clear enough. There were NO discounts or perks for the themepark entry even r Though we stayed at draytons own hotel we then had to pay twice almost £200 just to enter the resort park where we were staying. So thats £500 without anything else. Nomini bar or room service. No cleaners during entire stay. There were multiple rides shut qbout 5 or more with others breaking down every 5 mins. Resulting in only getting on 2rides for £100???? ?!!@!! No tea or coffee maker. Loose fittings old worn dirty walls ect. The standards were no higher than a premiere inn. Infact premiere inn is better value and cleaner rooms. The room shown on our booking looked nothing like it. The shows and evening entertainment were not as advertised no waterfest.Dissapointing for £900totalcosts

Been coming for many years with kids who love it. Rooms are clean and spacious although we are a family of 5 and woukd prefer to have everyone in same room rather than interconnecting rooms. I think the hotel should look into catering for families for 5 dith bunk beds and trundle bed

Out whole stay was very good from room to food and entertainment for kids were fab For our situation Little disappointed with extra parking charge despite it being included in original booking
