Book Bidwell hotels

We walked in and walked out. Critters of all kinds—a probably cute rodent skittered by right when we opened the door. There was a live cockroach on the fridge. Signs of bedbugs on the mattress. The front desk attendant was great, though.

Several TV channels didn't work. Breakfast okay but I've had much better. Room clean and quiet.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was a pleasant surprise, overall pleasant stay with courteous and helpful staff!

This hotel is being refurbished currently. There are construction items in the stairwell and even in our hallway. However, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and firm, the bathroom was large and clean. Plenty of room in the king bed room. Pillows were good, soft ones and firm ones. Enough for a knee pillow! The tub wouldn't drain fast enough and there was standing water. However, the water pressure was more than ample! It hit the wall so hard that I thought it made a hole! The toilet handle had to be held to flush. Front desk was helpful. No elevator! Breakfast was so so. Convenient location. It was quiet in our room.

The secure entrance door was broken, taken down and laying in the hallway so anyone off the street could (and seemingly did) come into the hotel through the night. The pool (why we booked the hotel) was closed. The air unit and hair dryer were broken. Basically were told it was too bad because all the local hotels were sold out for the event we were in town for.

A great value for what we got! The staff was extremely friendly and even accommodated a special request we had. Room was very spacious and easily fit my family of four. I will say if you don’t like hard pillows, make sure to bring your own. Fortunately, it didn’t bother me, and I slept fine.
