We had a wonderful week’s stay at the double tree. The location was very ideal and easy for getting around, lots of shopping and dining options located within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Nicholas at the front desk, such a star. We would definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in Berlin and would stay there again when we return.

Lovely helpful staff, great location with loads of shops nearby, comfy bed, gym has everything you need. Breakfast has a great selection. The lobby is very welcoming and the bar area is a nice place to have a drink and some food. No complaints, would stay here again!

Nice hotel, from the close location to metro, great customer service, and clean spacious rooms. My only complaint is that the only breakfast option is a buffet and it is excessive in price (35 Euro) from what you get.

There are much better hotels in Berlin

I stayed here for three nights during ITB and paid about $425 per night, which included breakfast. The hotel's location was excellent, and I have no complaints in that regard. However, the check-in process was quite slow. There were only two staff members at the front desk; one struggled with the check-ins while the other was preoccupied helping an man with a map issue. The woman handled five or six check-ins on her own while the other staff member seemed unproductive. I commend the receptionist who was working on the evening of March 3rd for her efforts. The room itself was clean and in decent condition, but there was a significant issue: there were no amenities whatsoever. There were no slippers, water, shoe cleaner, or cotton buds—absolutely nothing. This is completely unacceptable. When I brought this up at the reception, they claimed to be an environmentally friendly hotel, which I found to be a poor excuse. Additionally, housekeeping during my three-night stay was inadequate; the linens were not changed, and the towels were simply left in a pile in the corner of the bathroom. Breakfast was average, nothing noteworthy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not choose to stay here again. I also want to highlight that the staff generally seemed rude and there was a noticeable lack of friendly faces.

About 3 mins walk to Europa centre, about 12 mins walk to KaDeWe department store and various restaurants. Staff are prompt and professional. Below average breakfast; poor choice of menu, subpar quality breads and lack of potatoes and sausages. It should be a crime to charge 25 EUR per person for that. Do not drink water prepared in rooms unless you are member of hotel chain or they'll charge you 4.5 EUR for each bottle.
