Cozy Micro-Brewery Home

A unique house in downtown Historic Fairhaven which has been converted into a working micro-brewery. A block away from local amenities, including boutique shops & great restaurants. You can easily hop on to the inter-urban trail which links parks, fantastic hiking, biking & downtown Bellingham.

The downstairs space of the house is for your use entirely. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge with gas fireplace & cozy bedroom, this will be your home-away from home. Upstairs are two offices that are used by my husband and I, with our staff to run the micro-brewery & taproom that is on the same property. Great craft beer is in your backyard - literally!

The lounge has a lot of natural light, looks out on to the main street and 3 windows face the front beer garden. You can easily create more privacy for yourself by lowering the blinds/closing the sheer curtains. The bedroom is located in the back room. The noise from the brewery is surprisingly subdued (my husband & I lived on the property all through construction and during the first 6 months of opening), and the back bedroom has a constant sound of a gurgling stream from the cooling system used by the brewery. You may hear some creaks and groans from the old house (she used to be a brothel during the colorful history of Fairhaven - Miss Annie's Palace), and you may hear us moving around upstairs when we come into work. The brewery closes at 10pm during the summer, and 9pm during the winter months. Bellingham is the 'City of Subdued Excitement' after all, and Fairhaven is even sleepier!

Very friendly staff at brewery, as well as delicious beer! So close to everything in Fairhaven. Wonderful stay, celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday! while drinking our beer last night at the fire pit listening to the band we booked our next stay. Can’t wait!!

This apartment is a great location for everything Bellingham has to offer. The Fairhaven neighborhood is safe, adorable, and only moments from either the walkway on the water or trails in the woods. The apartment is simple but comfortable. Met our needs perfectly. We were able to walk to meals. Staff at the micro brewery were sweet and we enjoyed having drinks there.

This place is in a great location. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants in Fairhaven and a quick trip over to Bellingham. You literally walk through the outdoor space of the brewery to access the entrance. Most nights the brewery closes at 9 though there was a later block party one night of our stay. It was still pretty chilly so we really appreciated the gas fireplace and had most everything we needed during our stay.

We had a great 2 night stay. Host communicates well, the house was very clean, with excellent amenities. It’s worth noting, the home is very cozy to the brewery downstairs, as mentioned in the listing description. The entrance is through part of the brewery so customers will watch you carry luggage to the front door. We stayed over a weekend and the live band in the brewery was moderately loud in the home, which we didn’t mind too much. Overall a great stay and we’ll certainly comeback again.

Super clean and comfortable. Everything was as advertised. Everything we needed was provided... late/self check in, shampoo etc, Bed was super comfortable. The brewery was great and closes by 9 so no problems with noise or sleeping.

The location was very convenient for us. Communication with the host was via messaging which was timely and efficient. Everything we needed was present. Clean. There is nightly music from 7ish to 8:30ish each evening. As long as you are not trying to sleep then, all is well. The bar closes at 9pm so it is very quiet after that.

fireplace was very cozy, beds were comfortable, the atmosphere was amazing, very friendly very family oriented. Very clean… It got very quiet after 9:30-ish p.m. which was perfect. We absolutely LOVED staying at the Cozy Home! The fireplace is a definite bonus, and its a fantastic location. The brewery was fun, with great beer, cider, etc, and an exceptional staff. I would definitely stay again!
