Looking for things to do? Spend the day enjoying the Dunhe Temple and the Nantou Country Culture Park. You'll find them in Yuanlin, 12 kilometres to the northeast of Beidou. This regional centre is 45 kilometres east of Beidou and has a population of 86,000. The Geographic Center of Taiwan and Puli Town Night Market are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. If you're a sports fan, make sure you see a match at Yunlin Indoor Arena. After the final siren, conk out nearby at the Metro Hotel.
