come back every year for the rock & mineral show. sunshine inn is the very best! especially with the location, quiet, clean ...Oh. and the wonderful complimentary breakfast ...homemade just for you!!!! SO SAD TO SEE THE OWNERS ARE SELLING, BUT GREAT FOR THEM ON THEIR SOON TO BE RETIREMENT!!!!!

Front desk was amazing! Surprisingly the rooms were quiet & very comfortable!

This is a lovely property with so much story and heart to it. We were welcomed from the moment we drove into the driveway. They made effort to give us an ice box to keep our food cool. The room was clean, comfortable and with lots of character. We had a lovely bed, desk, chairs and rocking chair by the window. It was lovely. There was also access to a patio upstairs which was so nice in the evenings. The owners gave us so many great ideas of things to do in the area. And breakfast was incredible. We’ve never had people really consider our dietary requirements and still provide such a delicious breakfast …..and far from just the usual type of breakfasts. This was really special. My son is still talking about the eggs Benedict and the delicious fruit on pancakes. We so appreciated their care and consideration and recommend staying here in a heartbeat.

Despite the lack of a typical front desk, I found the employees to be very responsive. I was in touch by email before the stay and then by phone. They were also very welcoming and helpful in person during their working hours. There was a screw-up with my multi-room reservation which appeared to be the fault of the booking site and not Micro Boutique. Linda, the hotel supervisor, very graciously sorted it out and then followed-up in person to make sure all was well. Some of the bathrooms are very compact but the rest of the suites had lots of storage and well-equipped kitchenettes with everything needed to prepare a simple meal. Convenient location within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops in Wolfville.
