Honestly, My Hill Eco Lodge feels like a hidden gem the best hotel in Africa, offering the real charm and features of a true 5-star experience, while still staying connected to nature and local culture. This property is falsely advertised. The location listed on Expedia is not accurate, and when I arrived, it was nowhere near where it was supposed to be. I was forced to book another hotel last-minute. That alone would have been manageable, but the real issue is that the property provided no way to resolve the situation. They never answered their phone, ignored messages, and even when Expedia tried to reach them directly, there was no response. As a result, I was unable to cancel and lost over $1,300. Travelers should be aware that this listing is misleading and the property is unresponsive.

I was working remotely and enjoyed the peaceful vibe and strong internet. The views helped me relax after meetings.

The house is a 15-20’ walk from the center. Difficult to communicate with the lady (no French, little English) but her husband speaks fluent French. Excellent breakfast, clean and spacious room.
