We checked in late as we had been to a wedding, but the lady on the desk was friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and we were soon in our room. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep in a nice quiet atmosphere. Next morning, as we had ordered breakfast, we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who showed us what was on offer. We tucked in to a most acceptable breakfast, the full english was lovely and hot, and the continental had plenty to choose from.

We had a great few days away after a couple of days at our church conference in Derbyshire. It was a shame they didn’t give clean cups everyday and they forgot to leave a clean shower. Didn’t realise til I was having a shower. Overall it is still a nice place to stay for a couple of days.

Loved the stay. Staff were amazing, really friendly and a credit to Ibis. The rooms were nice and overall I enjoyed my stay. The only negatives were the water pressure, shower temperature issues, and very hard pillows. But apart from that a very pleasant stay and would love to return.

Poor experience

Room overlooking entrance and smoking area, noisy with people talking into early hours. Children running up and down corridors making lots of noise. Breakfast was limited, majority of items not being replaced so no sausages, fresh fruit, or bread available. Not enough staff to deal with the numbers of people. They were trying their best but struggled with demands.

We had to have our kettle changed because the kettle was unsafe and not carrying a safety compliance certificate,the replacement kettle had a safety certificate on it but did not turn off when up to temperature.

Great value, modern room

Room was great, modern, clean and great value. Advertised 24hour room service but when we tried to order something at 10.30pm it wasn’t possible as the receptionist said she was working by herself so couldn’t leave the reception.

Nice break here thx. The room key didn't work so I had to get staff to come up every time I wanted to get into my room, but they were very nice and sorted it quickly
