Great hotel at a good price!

This hotel is great value for money and is very clean and comfortable. Staff are really friendly and breakfast is good. Showers are excellent. Well situated just off Jn 37 of M1. Free parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable stay but member services could improve

The bathroom was excellent clean, amenities and products are very good quality. I did feel though the service for members could be improved slightly. The website advertised free bottled water in rooms for guests but there was none and complementary welcome drink for new members but this wasn't offered.

A friendly smile of welcome with a brief explanation of all facilities and meal timings. Checked the car in and given directions to our room. Room was clean and modern. Everything that was supposed to work, did so. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. Breakfast had a good selection of fruits, cereals and cooked food. Juices, tea and coffee available and all well stocked. We are planning to return in November.

Correct service

The only outstanding thing was the staff during our stay from the 2nd to the 4th of May. A shout out to them! They were friendly and attentive. I asked for superglue on Saturday night, and the lady offered to bring her own the next day. It's a tiny detail that makes me remember the place. Apart from that, it is absolutely average. Clean, neat, and organized. I can't complain about the cleanliness. The bed was also comfy, but rather average. But hey, it's a motorway service, so at this price point, it's acceptable. Regarding breakfast, as a Muslim, we have gotten used to it, but having a halal food section could make a difference. Adding some turkey bacon or chicken sausage wouldn't break the bank. At least having vegan sausage would also be a good addition for vegans to remember the place. So yeah, it's an average place. The problem is, if you slip on anything that's below average.

We always tend to stay here for pur regular trips to Barnsley. Clean, nice staff and on our last trip, very accommodating to our specific needs (we had to cut our stay short due to the timing of a family bereavement). My only complaint is the quality of their hair products (i always take my own). Overall excellent value.

Clean and upto standard

The hotel is very clean It was just one night but am now tempted to go for Ibis hotels in future. I hope they are all the same . I loved the walk in shower as well. Bar area was pretty good. Especially with that pool table 😅
