Bed is super comfortable and the layout is very inviting. I also enjoyed the balcony and the shower is very good along with WIFI

Should not be 5 star. The food was fine, pretty much same standard AI as you normally get. The pool is huge and very lovely if you are quick enough in the morning to get a sunbed. The rooms need updating, comfy bed but old, cheap furniture not 5 star quality. We went into town 5 nights out of our 7, it takes about 15 mins to walk and we did it during the day and after dark no problem at all. Taxi option is also very easy. So much better than staying in the hotel, I wish I had gone B&B. The beach is much better near town as well as the waves are crazy near the hotel. If I went back I would not return here.

The music, lights, dancing, and vibe made it one of the most memorable nights of the holiday. Whether you’re looking to unwind by the pool, explore the island, or enjoy vibrant entertainment in the evenings, Riu Funana has something for everyone.
