We stayed here twice. Extremely clean hotel. Room was serviced daily with sheets and towels. Free drinking water. Minibar and tea/coffee in room. Lovely breakfast room and outdoor courtyard. Breakfast was included, was excellent variety and quality. Hot eggs, assorted pastries, hot vegetables, beans and breakfast meats. Cold cuts, cheeses, breads, jams, salads, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruits, juices, tea and coffee machines. Walked to Rambla, Picasso Museum, MOCA. Taxi cabs across street. Next to shopping area El Corte Ingles, Primark, other shops.

Great location, easy access to everything especially aerobus station which takes you to the airport. It’s only a few minutes walk. Front desk staff is helpful. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet is good. I wish they provide the single use slippers

This hotel is off of a somewhat busy street but we don’t hear much noise. We stayed in an executive room. It was very comfortable. The bed is king size, there’s ample storage space. The shower is a walk in shower and the toilet is in a separate compartment. The sink is within the room but it all works out. There is a mini fridge and an electrical kettle.We had a balcony but it isn’t very spacious. There is AC and elevators. The staff are amazing! They have been very helpful For dining recommendations and they have had courtesy calls to see if our stay is going well! Housekeeping is daily and they leave chocolates. This is a boutique hotel and I loved my stay here! They do offer breakfast for 13 euros pp, but we didn’t eat there. There’s a ton of places for coffee, breakfast, etc. Cortes Ingles , a huge store is at the corner. Location is great!

Great location!

This hotel is extremely well located! Near all public transportation and an easy walk to the Gothic Quarter. The service and staff were top notch .. extremely friendly and helpful. They have a very good breakfast buffet. Our room was quite small, but everything was very clean. I would recommend this hotel if you want reliable simplicity!!

The location of Room Mate Pau is ideal. The last stop of the A1 bus from the airport is Placa Catalunya. It’s a 2 minute walk to the hotel on Carrer Fontanella. Hotel staff welcoming, rooms clean, functional and adequate for 1-2 people. I had a great view of the cathedral from my window. I highly recommend purchasing the buffet breakfast. Delicious with a variety of tasty food..fruit, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, frittata, pastries, cereal, nuts, toast and a variety of beverages…juices, coffees, water. So impressed with kind and helpful staff in the breakfast room/lounge. Lobby staff always helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations. Location of hotel ideal. Walking distance to metro, buses, the old city which includes the Barcelona Cathedral, the beautiful streets passeig de gracias and Avvinguda del Portal deL’angel, La Ramblas (road construction) and el Corte Ingles department store which has take out food on bottom floor and a good cafeteria on the top floor. My 6 night stay at Room Mate Pau was most enjoyable.
