This hotel is right in the center of shops, dining and many architectural sights. I loved this hotel and the front desk staff were very helpful with suggesting sights to see. The restaurant/bar staff Tino and Victoria were AMAZING!!!

Location is excellent close to cathedral and las ramblas. Hotel very clean and services excellent, front desk very welcoming and attentive. We had a room with private terrace backing onto the rooftop pool. Would be special in summer but bit chilly in December..

The roof pool and bar is out of action. None of this was informed prior to the stay. Had we known before arrival we could have booked else. One lift was faulty and the glass smashed. We had a private terrace with a pool that could not be used as it was dirty. Disgusting yellow rim around the water line. Dirt on the base of the pool. and Bird poop on the pool cover. This should have been cleaned regularly and prior to arrival. rather than inform them to clean. I'd hate to think of the risk of legionnaires! Don't waste your money with the private pool rooms.

My son and I stayed at this hotel in Feb and were so happy with the hotel, staff, location etc. What I found surprising was how quiet it was. I didn’t hear other guests, doors opening/closing, much guest noise etc. staff was very helpful, professional, friendly. Room was spacious, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful week's stay in this lovely hotel. The staff was friendly, polite and super helpful. Greeted us everyday with smiles and well wishes. Very centrally located in a safe and quiet area. Our room (with a terrace) was fantastic. I would give ten stars if I could.

Not what we wanted, but the location is perfect

Our room we booked was not available and they downgraded us to a cheaper smaller room. They comped us breakfast each day which honestly we do not like to eat breakfast and their breakfast is not worth the money. The hotel is in the best location for tourists. The location and how nice the staff is made our stay nice. Being downgraded like this should not happen, we had to agree to the downgrade because we already traveled from the USA.

Lovely stay

Very friendly staff, lovely hotel in a great location. Breakfast options were ideal for us and the bar was a nice area for a quick drink while my wife was getting ready to go out!

Stop looking and book it. We had an excellent experience at Catalonia Catedral Hotel. The location was amazing and close to lots of shopping (touristy, local artists/shops, and luxury stores) and delicious restaurants to suit many budgets and tastes. Best of all was Miguel at the front desk who was so friendly and helpful. All his suggestions were 10 out of 10.

the only thing that wasn't up to standard is the water pressure, which is very low in taking the shower. I don't know whether it is a norm i Barcelona city or it's the hotel problem

All was well but a little lax on security we once found room terrace door open to common access rooftop pool after a day out and our luggage left to hold after check out (with passports in it) was just sitting for hours in the corner of a lobby as there ‚was no room’ in designated locked storage. Nice stay though if you can live with that!
