The location is great, across from the town square. The on-site parking is extremely convenient. It’s an easy walk to dozens of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Only glitch is the rooms in the main building which face the street can be noisy at night. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.

Convenient location in the heart of Bar Harbor, the staff was friendly and the accommodation was as advertised. I docked a star on the review because there were a few house-keeping items that could have been better. I would not go as far as to say it was dirty, but definitely felt lived in. Perhaps it was due to the fact that they don’t have a ton of space on the property (common for Bar Harbor) and it was peak busy season. Overall it was a decent stay and the staff was friendly.

meh

rooms were nice and decorated well. sheets and towels were perpetually stained. it’s only when I asked for towels that were not stained that I got clean towels at least. The location was amazing, though— everything in town was within walking distance, and the park was only a 12 minute drive. aside from the omelette station, the breakfast was pretty mediocre.

Perfect for a few days in bar harbour. Meet at check in by Jodi and a glass of champagne! Shown to our room. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There was some street noise as we were at the front of the hotel however it all went quiet at about 1030 so no problem for us. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would stay again

Great expwrience

Location great. A nice walk to town. Had a balcony room that was very comfortable and nice view of the town. At check in and through out the week, Kat was very professional, welcoming and friendly. Nice bar/lounge offering drinks,dinner and breakfast. Shower hot water pressure was quite low. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Acadia downtown Hotel, the room was clean and the staff was friendly and gave us lots of information on where to go and what to see, do and eat! The location is perfect, walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National park was about 10 minutes away by car. When we come back, we will stay at the Acadia Downtown Hotel again for sure!
