Location is closer to river and mountain. Felt the nature. However, a bit far from main road. It is 10 km away from Khao Sok national park. Staffs arranged eairly boat ride 6:30am. Not a lot of visitors are here yet. Enjoy the lake very much.

Exceptional experience. Not perfect (a few things could use some attention), but the need for a little common sense and care more than compensated for the incredible experience of basically sleeping in the jungle, alongside a clean and calm-running river. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Good food all day, excellent buffet breakfast. Beds comfortable, we had a rainfall shower in our wooden cabin and it was truly memorable. We took a half day hike in the Kao Sok park shortly after arriving, saw bats, tarantula, many insect, birds and various lizards but missed the monkeys which wasn’t an issue because…. The next morning a family of 12-15 of them rocked up on our porch, tapping the windows and doors for attention. Truly magical, kids would have loved it. It’s in a rainforest so don’t expect aircon everywhere or WiFi that penetrates your pores. Actually a much better experience for being rustic, a little off-grid and a true taste of jungle life. Highly recommended.

special and peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable, but there were quite a lot of insects inside the room, which was disturbing at times. The bedding also felt a bit dusty. Breakfast was overall good, with several options to choose from. The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but the menu is quite limited and does not change, and the food quality is average. The staff is very kind and polite, but seems inexperienced. During meals, plates were not cleared from the table, which made the dining experience less comfortable. The pool is small but nice. The dining area is very warm and there were mosquitoes and flies, which made it less pleasant to sit there. Overall, the location in nature is amazing and the hotel has great potential, but improvements in cleanliness, food service, and comfort would make the stay much better.

Magical Mountain was incredibly unique and absolutely beautiful! The staff was incredible and a true reflection of a beautiful Thai culture. The location was outstanding for proximity to jungle truck, tourists and kao lak. The pool was outstanding!

Staff was very welcoming and friendly, room was nice and spacious and the breakfast was great. We also booked a bamboo raft tour through the hotel which was very good.

The view of the mountains is nice and the pool was good. Just things to note: both nights I was there they had live music until 10 pm which I could hear from my room. You have to take your key with you which turns off all of the power so my room was always hot when I returned because the A/C had not been running. I had wifi issues that had to be fixed twice. I did not receive any housekeeping service for an 2 night stay. Overall I would classify my stay as “not bad”.
