The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good

It’s an ideal place to stay in Kathmandu. Right in the middle of Thamel, so you’re right by the restaurants, bars and attractions but it’s off the street so is delightfully peaceful and quiet. All the staff were polite and efficient, breakfast was great- I got an excellent freshly made omelette snd coffee. The gentlemen who make them were both fantastic and deserve extra praise. Someone kindly carried my bag for me and they hired a comfortable and clean cab for me.

Probably the best hotel in Thamel. Comparible with any western hotel. Food is good. Staff are very attentive

The Dwarika is an oasis. The spa and gym facilities are out of this world. It is a living cultural museum with wood carvings and art and traditional but fancy local cuisine. It was exactly what I needed after the Everest Marathon, a place to detox and recover. Even the air is better and sweeter in the hotel. It isn’t near Thamel but that is why it is peaceful. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It isn’t the luxury, it is the support of Nepali and Newari traditions that put it over the top.
