Taking a trip to Baggholma? Keep in mind that there are no hotels in or near Baggholma's centre.

But don't despair! There are some hotel options in Roola, which lies 50 kilometres away from Baggholma. These hotels include the Naantali Spa Hotel and Ruissalo Spa Hotel.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Aurinko Golf and Moominworld in Naantali. If you want to spend a few nights in Naantali, consider the Naantali Family Hotel - Hostel and Hotel Palo. Alternatively, you could stay in Turku, 70 kilometres to the east of Baggholma, where you can choose from the Break Sokos Hotel Caribia and Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel, Turku. If you stay in Turku, set aside some time to check out the University of Turku and Turku Cathedral.

Sitting 70 kilometres southwest of Baggholma is Mariehamn, a regional hub with a population of 11,000. It's home to some awesome attractions, like Alands Museum, the Mariehamn Ferry Port and the Aland Maritime Museum. Självstyrelsegården and Sankt Göran's Church are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. Mariehamn has places to stay that should suit most tastes and budgets, including the Hotell Arkipelag and Hotel Savoy.

Unless you're planning to pitch a tent at Mariehamn Airport, it might be wise to book some accommodation before you fly. The Hotel Esplanad is close by, or you could always travel into Baggholma's centre. It's 70 kilometres away.
