While you won't find a whole lot of places to crash in Bon, you will find 3 digs within 30 kilometres of the centre.

Bo Sommermotell Breisaas and Bo Sommermotel Gullbring are some great choices! They're about as close to downtown Bon as you'll get.

The Holmen Gård, 30 kilometres from central Bon, is another option in Bon.

It's well known that Aussies just love to relax, so consider chilling out a little longer and checking out the Telemark Museum and the Henrik Ibsen Museum in Skien, 45 kilometres to the east of Bon. Some of our recommended Skien hotels are the Hotell Dag Bondeheim and Clarion Collection Hotel Bryggeparken. 45 kilometres to the southeast of Bon you'll find Kragero, home to the Kragerø Resort and Victoria Hotel. We had such an incredible stay at the cabin. My husband, 2 children ages 5 & 7 and our dog had a relaxing stay for two nights. Access to the cabin was easy. The cabin was clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. The outside washroom was clean. Life jackets were available for children and adults which was nice because we didn’t bring any for the boat. Cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, dishes, space heaters, kettle, big fridge. The sun sets facing the back of the house which is so beautiful in the evening. The lake is like glass, so quiet and peaceful. There is nothing like waking up to that view in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. You could hear traffic from the road behind the cabin but it didn’t bother us and it was a fair distance so we didn’t worry about the kids or the dog getting on the road. We had to contact the owner a few times with some questions but he was quick to respond and help. Unfortunately we could not get the hot tub to work so hopefully next time it will be up and running! :)
