Distance from Avalon was further than expected. The hotel was located the top of a large hill. Advertisement said pool was heated ;however it was not heated at all. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious

When you stay at Catalina Island Inn in Avalon, you'll be near the beach, just steps from Three Palms Avalon Arcade and Catalina Island Museum.
The view was very nice. A gull visited often, so make sure the sliding door is shut. The sliding door still sticks, so close it slowly. The bed is very comfy. It is an old building that is kind of shabby, but still clean and well kept.
