This stay was not “exceptional” as Expedia makes it out to be. The property seemed older and definitely did not look like the pictures. One of the reasons for my 1 star review is for the lack of communication regarding the unavailable amenities, in our case the pool was closed during our stay. We booked this property specifically for their indoor pool since the reason for our stay was solely so that my daughter could swim. When we brought it up to the attention of the hotel they referred us to Expedia since our booking was made through them. And when we finally reached Expedia they were unable to solve our problem or provide us with a voucher for a different night etc to make up for their false advertisement. Had we been informed at check-in or had the listing been updated with the pool closure we would have booked with a different property. Overall even without the inconveniences of not having the pool available this property would get 3 of 5 stars at most. They were out of milk during breakfast hours and their fruit looked old, brown bananas, old looking apples & oranges. On the other hand the young lady that was helping in the kitchen at breakfast was very kind and helpful and so was the cleaning lady was very friendly. It’s unfortunate that Expedia will be loosing a loyal customer.
