The hotel was okay but not up to the standards of Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and staff was pleasant. The toilet ran all the time, was leaking onto the floor and the shower head was about to fall off.
The parking garage was horrible. Expedia and the hotel states $35/night which is overpriced to begin with but when parking the car and scanning the QR code as instructed I was going to be charged over $49. The hotel adjusted the price for parking but it was still an inconvenience.
The parking garage is under the building so you enter by driving up to a closed overhead door with a tiny parking sign (had to circle the block twice then call the lobby to find it). The garage itself is so tight and compact,, thankfully no other vehicles were going the other direction or wlsomeone would have had to back up. Ended up having to park on floor -4 or below wince the higher ones are for valet.
The elevator from the parking garage to the lobby is very slow. Parking in downtown Austin iis bad enough but I would never return or recommend staying at this hotel if you plan to park on site. Find somewhere else to park if staying here, you have been warned!
