Everything and everyone was outstanding. Luz was particularly helpful the few times we needed assistance. Staff is very attentive and wonderful at anticipating needs. Our only complaint was that the last two days, the main lobby area by elevators smelled as if someone perhaps drank too much and got sick:/

This was my second stay at the Fairmont Austin. The front counter staff is friendly and helpful and the rooftop pool area magificent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurants and bar areas very nice. It was Formula1 race week and the vibe in the hotel was lively and hopping with lots of Formula 1 teams and fans staying ar the hotel. My only real complaint is that the hotel doesn't provide free wi-fi. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Construction Site Noise

Overall, they stay was great, but my suggestion is to provide a heads up that major construction is taking place in and around the area and that the noise level is not tolerable, especially on a Sunday when the construction at the site next door is in full swing. Perhaps providing earplugs in the rooms would be helpful for future guests. It really is something that should be considered.
