Summary:
Set above Hekerua Bay with wide views across the water, Hekerua Bay Retreat is a spacious coastal home designed for relaxed group stays. With open living spaces, a large deck, and easy access to Palm Beach and Oneroa, it’s a comfortable base for families or friends wanting time together on Waiheke.
The Space:
Positioned above native bush with long views across Hekerua Bay, Hekerua Bay Retreat feels calm and well balanced from the moment you arrive. The main living area is open and light filled, bringing together the kitchen, dining, and lounge in a single connected space that opens directly to the deck.
The deck is generous and set up for everyday use, with outdoor dining, a BBQ, and seating that works for long breakfasts, shared lunches, and evenings spent watching the light change over the bay. The indoor and outdoor areas connect easily, making the layout practical for groups spending time together.
The home accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms arranged over multiple levels. The master bedroom includes a king bed and ensuite bathroom and is positioned to catch the morning light. Upstairs, a second bedroom features a split king bed that can be configured as twins. Downstairs, a king bedroom sits quietly away from the main living areas, while the bunk room includes a double bed on the bottom and a single above, suited to children or teenagers.
With two and a half bathrooms in total, the layout allows guests to spread out comfortably without feeling crowded.
Due to stairs connecting multiple levels, the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
