Phillipos hotel was wonderful. The staff was accommodating and helpful. Rooms were clean and the area near the hotel was walkable to restaurants, shops and transportation. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I would highly recommend Phillipos hotel in the Plaka area of Greece. The staff was wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The area was walkable and had lots of shopping and restaurants. Transportation was easily available. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good

Very small but that’s what i expected when I booked this hotel with good prices. Fortunately our room has very big terrace with acropolis view. Terrace is actually bigger than our room. Small boutique type of hotel common in Europe. Staffs are nice and communication in English is good. Easy to go many tourist sights. When we went out at 6 AM for local bus tour package, they packed breakfast for us but you need to ask for it night before

Beautiful boutique hotel just a few blocks from the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, and the Plaka. The view from the roof of the Acropolis was incredible. Lovely staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. I would stay here again!

Second times a charm

We arrived a few hours early and was allowed to check in as our room was ready. We have stayed here before and know the area well. The room was clean and had a very large balcony to sit and relax. Because we requested a balcony we were given a smaller room than before so we had a hard time with our luggage. Lucky for us we spent little time in the room. The bedding was nice and comfortable. The breakfast is ok, could use more variety. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The area is within a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis and Palaka where there’s plenty of cafes and shopping. All in all I highly recommend the Philippos hotel.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Small roof top area with view of Acropolis. Sister hotel (Herodion) a block away had an amazing roof top restaurant and bar with view of Acropolis and was amazing. All the sites were close and walkable and area was relatively quiet. Breakfast had plenty of options (could have used some warm eggs).

Very impressive. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Incredible location. Less than a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis. Big spacious room with fantastic aircon! Hotel was perfectly clean and tidy and the breakfast was nice with a good range of options. Would stay here again no question.

For what we required being central to Museum/Ajropolois/Monstiraki/Ermou served purpose very well. Only comment when checked in was asked for an additional 5Euro as a staff service charge - paid in cash...Amount was insignificant but not sure whether was a requirement or just an amount pocketed by the receptionist. Overall if want something basic, clean, for a limited period - very small living area - quite good
