The front desk staff in the morning versus the evening were night and day. The evening staff were kind, professional, and very helpful. While the rooftop pool and the staff at the restaurant upstairs were great, there’s limited dining around the hotel. Also, there’s a lot of graffiti in the area of the hotel. The hotel itself is nice, it’s just very dated. I did have a small issue at the very beginning when we checked in. Even at check-in they did not have my room available and left me waiting in the lobby for over an hour past check-in. Upon entering my room, I had to call housekeeping back because there was hair in the shower, on the floor, and in the sink.

I have stayed at Novotel's around the world and really not impressed with this one. Supposed to be a 4* but would be lucky to be a 3*. Paper cups in the rooms. terrible coffee, the shower barely had any pressure at all, no spare blankets or pillows. BUT the staff at the rooftop bar/restaurant were amazing. Couldn't do enough for us even though it seemed as though they were very understaffed. Great team up there!

Lovely hotel within walking distance (even with my kids) from the metro, the rooftop restaurant and pool are great. The food was gorgeous and there is a great view of the Acropolis. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Shout-out to Maria at the rooftop restaurant and bar! Breakfast was delicious with a ton of options. This hotel is perfect for visiting Athens and the rooftop pool was ideal as we stayed in July.

Great pool, beautiful view, and delicious breakfast. However, our room was very small and not particularly clean. Also, I accidentally left my shoes by the pool and never found them again.

Overall, we had a good stay area around. Property is not great and nor the hotel room. The property is very dated and was very dirty. The common areas appear to have been renovated sooner, and the roof deck was spectacular. The staff was really great.

The rooftop pool was very nice but had limited hours. The room was rather small bed with pull out bed. The staff was great and the breakfast options were perfect. Glad there was security outside. Did not feel safe walking around area and needed to arrange for transportation.

The Novotel was a great option for a short stay. The rooms were clean with plenty of space. The food top pool and bar were a real bonus after a hot walk around the sights of Athens
