Room and staff were great but the food was terrible in 2 of their flagship restaurants

Our stay at LIV Hotel Jaipur was excellent. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful throughout our visit. A special mention to Irfan Khan, who went above and beyond to assist us by arranging a complimentary room upgrade when we requested a different view from the one originally reserved. His hospitality truly made our stay even more memorable. We also dined at Naobi Restaurant a couple of times, and the food was outstanding on every occasion. The coffee shop on the property had a wonderful ambience along with an impressive selection of coffee and breakfast options. We even tried their hot pizza during lunch and it was out of the world. The location of the hotel was another highlight, as it was conveniently close to Johari Bazaar, Jantar Mantar and other popular tourist attractions, thereby making it easy for us to explore the city. The property was meticulously clean. All the staff members from the door man to receptionist to room support staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again.

Absolutely unacceptable and deeply disappointing experience. This hotel is currently undergoing renovation, yet there is no transparency or effort to manage guest expectations. The temporary arrangements on the first floor are chaotic and severely compromise the quality of stay. The staff across the property is shockingly rude, unprofessional, and completely lacks basic customer service skills. At breakfast, the situation was nothing short of a mess — no proper greeting, no coordination, and no sense of hospitality. It felt like the team had no training whatsoever. The most appalling experience was at Zeest Skybar. The restaurant manager’s behavior was outright arrogant, dismissive, and blatantly unfair. She enforced rules selectively — claiming weather restrictions for indoor seating, while allowing certain guests (notably those smoking) to occupy premium outdoor areas. This kind of biased and inconsistent behavior is unacceptable and reflects extremely poor management standards. Room service was equally frustrating, with delays exceeding 30 minutes and zero accountability. The staff was indifferent, unresponsive, and clearly untrained to handle even basic guest requests. Overall, this was a terrible and frustrating stay. The hotel fails on fundamental hospitality standards — professionalism, fairness, and service. Amazing Stay, I almost did not want to leave. From the friendly staff to the delicious hot meals. Access to all the amenities was also a major highlight. Highly recommend for your stay in Jaipur.

This hotel is catered for the local community, the food and as not high quality, the amenities are lacking, the cleanliness is lacking, the gardens and green areas are not well taken care off, the high tea is laughable, pictures are very deceiving. Overall not what you would expect from a 5 Star hotel, my wife and I were very disappointed.
