Excellent hotel, well managed and even better located if you’re coming from the JR station. Only negative: level of foreign languages is low, and even worse than zero in the case of one night employee who wasted more than a half hour of my and my friend’s (my friend only had 1 hour to catch a train so the employee wasted half of that for us) only because she can’t speak English or didn’t want to when she mistakenly checked me out of my room when I specifically told her my friend is checking out and I am not.

Great hotel within 5-10minutes walk from the main JR station. Comfortable rooms and great to have onsen on the top floor. Free noodles and ice cream a bonus. Staff were very friendly.

It’s actually a very nice hotel. I was just annoyed that they lied to me when I wanted an early check in at 12:00. I was moving from one hotel 500 meters away, so I should have negotiated it from before checking out at the other. Because arriving with bags announces commitment, and gives them the advantage to squeeze money out of you. They wanted 20,000 per extra hour for the early check at 1pm. I refused so they reduced it to 30,000 for 2 hours. I was so tired I had to accept. But I didn’t feel good about it and would not stay again at a hotel that squeezes dollars out of you.

Conveniently located, clean, on site laundry facilities, and an extensive, good quality breakfast. Only thing to consider is that there was no wardrobe. If you were traveling alone, like me, it is no big deal. If you will be sharing a room I don’t think it is a deal breaker, but something to consider.

Nice sized room with space to move around. Everything you need in room. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. Easy location with public transport. Lots of nearby restaurants etc

A good place to stay, excellent location for Chinatown and some of the churches and port Good, helpful staff, basic room but good for what we needed. When it rained we could use the laundry. Only thing, I booked as we had a rental car, a keicar, but the height was only 155m for the car park which I didn't realise so had to find parking elsewhere. Car park opposite was fine but be aware of that if you have a car.
