While the hotel scene in Aroche won't exactly blow you away, we do offer one hotel within 30 kilometres of the main area.

Santa Ana la Real is another place where you can sit back and order up some room service like a boss. Located 25 kilometres southeast of Aroche, it's where you'll discover the Almonaster La Real Mosque and Chapel of the Queen of Angels. If you're keen to stay in Santa Ana la Real, consider the rates at the Molino Rio Alajar and Complejo Turístico Los Veneros. Alternatively, you could stay in Los Marines, 35 kilometres to the east of Aroche, where you'll find the La Posada de San Marcos and Finca La Media Legua. Should you choose to stay in Los Marines, set aside a little time to check out Cave of Marvels and Priory Church.

Go 75 kilometres west and you'll come across Beja, a regional centre with a population of 35,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, hang your camera 'round your neck and get your tourist on at the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao, Beja Castle and Praca da Republica. The Núcleo Museológico da Rua do Sembrano and the Museu Jorge Vieira are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops.
