Another day in Paradise and I'm loving it. I've never seen white sandy beaches before. Naturally, I'm over the moon with my first Thai island experience! Can you see how clear the water is? I'm in love with Koh Phayam. I read some accounts of people finding the island too quiet. This is precisely what I adore about it. No cars. Not too many people (you can always find a beach with no one around, such as this one). Relaxed vibe. Relaxed life. When you stay at Payam Cottage Resort in Ranong, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute walk of Aow Khao Kwai Beach and Hin Talu.
It was quiet place to stay and close to the beach.The problems were the noise on tge roof at nights, it was a nightmare.

Nice individual bungalows, much better construction that the typical bamboo style. Comfy bed, bright room, clean bathroom (cold water only) and fan cooled the room adequately at night.
