Hello from Paradise! We have started our little Island Hopping Adventure in the South of Thailand. First stop: Koh Phayam. A quiet Island which still has a true 'in the middle of nowhere' feel to it. I can count the people around me in two hands. Never been to such an empty beach before. It's lovely! Also very pleased with our accommodation: open-air shower and a huge hammock big enough for two on our veranda. Just swam in the ocean for nearly an hour - the water temperature is divine!! When you stay at The Blue Sky Resort Koh Payam in Ranong, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute walk of Ko Phayam Pier and Ko Kham.
Everything was good. Terrific location. But, our villa was booked on the lagoon and it was completely empty...just a giant mud patch. Not a drop water 😒

When you stay at Payam Cottage Resort in Ranong, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute walk of Aow Khao Kwai Beach and Hin Talu.
It was quiet place to stay and close to the beach.The problems were the noise on tge roof at nights, it was a nightmare.

Good value clean bungalows
Nice individual bungalows, much better construction that the typical bamboo style. Comfy bed, bright room, clean bathroom (cold water only) and fan cooled the room adequately at night. Wifi a bit patchy but reached the bungalows closest to the restaurant. Walking distance to one beach, mini market ...
