Bed was comfortable, room layout nice. Bathroom ventilation was loud but not very effective. When we checked in there was a puddle on the floor apparently from the dishwasher, which seems to be a common enough occurrence that the staff on duty were not at all surprised. But once it was cleaned up, no further issues.

Perfectly pleasant place to stay.

I spent 5 nights at Sonesta. The accommodations were exactly as described. The room and facility was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and available as needed but mostly kept to their duties. I had a handicap accessible room bcz I was having surgery while in Ann Arbor. The dog theme decor, pet treats, and color scheme added to the appeal. Pros 1. Quiet convenient location near I-94 and 7 mins from U of M. 2. The kitchen had a fridge (with ice maker), dishwasher, 2 burner induction top, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen utensils, plates, cups, cookware for 2. 3. There was a station to borrow items and a mini store with stocked food to purxhase and cook. I will definately stay again Cons 1. The shower pressure was very low and the water bled onto the bathroom floor so I used several towels each time (staff replaces them as you need.) 2. Also the air conditioning unit takes a little getting used to in order to actually maintain a cool room. 3. Finally the microwave in my room was on the counter and it took up most of the countertop space so I used the desk for alot of kitchen prep. Most likely that's only in the accessibility rooms.

It did the job... wouldnt stay there again though

The room was comfortable aside from it definitely not being queen size bed. It was a full. So my teenage daughter and I were quite tight in the bed for a 3.5 day stay. It was nice having a kitchen in the room and laundry but the "gym" is connected as well as the "store", and I was not able to use the gym because of it. Always someone coming in and out. The thing that bothered me the most was there were always specific guests (i think maybe extended stay guests) that sat right outside of the entrance door and smoked weed. Not a care in the world. Our room was directly above and we could smell it heavy every time. The guests above us also sounded like they were running a marathon the entire night until about 1am. Also, we were there Wed-Sat and never once checked on by housekeeping or had our garbage taken out. The girl that checked me in was very sweet and helpful. Aside from her, the staff was non engaging to say the least.
