McKinley aka "Denali" (the Great One), the tallest mountain on the North American Continent. During the Summer its not unusual to see Moose in the front yard. Grill your dinner while enjoying a glass of wine and a view of city lights and surrounding mountains. Fall asleep in a super comfortable King size bed and just enjoy the quiet. Separate outside deck and picnic table add to charm of this downstairs apartment in this mountain residence. Both inside and out, The Eagles nest is an ideal retreat. its a 15 min drive to South Anchorage for a unique shopping/dining experience. Or a 2 hour drive to world class fishing on the Kenai River or a 30 min drive to Salmon fishing at Bird Creek. There's Hiking/Biking trails in nearby McHugh Creek, including the crystal clear water of Rabbit Lake in Chugach park, enjoy bird watching at Potter marsh.
