Great value for money small hotel with 8am-late bar & restaurant below. Great location in city centre, close to Nieuwe Kierk, Damrak and Royal Palace, easy walk from Centraal Station. Rooms clean, warm, comfortable and well-designed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommend.

Great location, staff were very friendly, but the room was right at the top of five flights of stairs, very impractical to climb… narrow staircase and difficult with suitcase! No drinks available in room.. very basic.

One of the reasons I reserved this hotel was because they have the service of luggage storage. I arrived some hours earlier of the check in and they did not accept my luggage. Also, the restroom of our room smell really bad since we arrived.

We decided to have a 1 night stay in Amsterdam en route to Benidorm. This Hotel was highly recommended and affordable. It did not disappoint. Woukd definitely stay again.

Very good location, walkable from Central station. Tram stop very close. We stayed in room 8 Ocean: quite specious, clean, newly renovated (not fancy but nice). We had 3 windows, with one face church. If light sleeper you should bring earplugs! You can hear tram and people passing by. This is probably only downside of this hotel.

The location was great and having a towel warmer was wonderful. We were not comfortable going into a bar/restaurant to register for the hotel and also heading up the stairs to our room. We were just not comfortable in general

Room was small, which was workable though. Bathroom had a constant smell of sewage. No glasses for a drink of water. No kettle; fridge, etc. The stairs are very dark and narrow making them tricky to navigate. No elevators; so be very aware if you are carrying heavy suitcases. Convenient location.

Check in gal was pleasant. Staff seemed nice, until the wait staff scammed me by over charging for my breakfast. Room was clean, but TINY. Stairs very steep, room was very hot. No AC, one window. Very noisy street down below until the wee hours of the morning. TV worked for maybe a couple hours. Location was decent. Would not recommend

Took over an hour to check in bcz of a mixup apparently w/Expedia, where I booked but mgmt cleared it up. The steps are terrible and the steepest leading up to rooms. If you fall down them, kiss ur a** good-bye. Tiny rooms, had bad view of rooftop/trash and pigeons (brug room 19). However, convenient location to everything.

Fun location, glad it was only one night.

No air conditioning made for a miserable hot night. The twin beds disguised as a full/queen leave much to be desired. Steep stairs.

We've stayed here several times while in Amsterdam. Great place. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Most rooms are quiet, some not so much. The stairs are steep and heavy luggage is cumbersome.

Hotel Corner House is located in a nice area of Amsterdam, and just off Dam Square, so easy to get to whether walking or catching the convenient tram. The bar downstairs is welcoming and a popular spot for food & drink all day… I thought it was a very reasonable price for my stay, although I’d definitely pay extra to have a double room next time instead of a small single room on the 4th floor. Not sure if the other rooms are different but I would have enjoyed some coffee making facilities but with all that, the hotel suited my needs as a base for exploring Amsterdam!
