Can not say how great the location is, just perfect. We booked the deluxe room facing the Duomo and it was a fairy tale. Air conditioning was a little skeptical, did not seem to work, thats ok. Opened the french doors and amazing fresh air. Dont hesitate to book.

Best views of the Duomo

The hotel has an excellent location just opposite the Duomo and you have breakfast with the best views. Staff were helpful and friendly (providing charging for phones at breakfast, keeping luggage after check out), so the low score is not a reflection on their work. Low scores for condition and comfort due to: - smell of blocked drain in the room every time we entered the room - emergency key holder alarm inside room and emergency light inside room was turned on automatically as we had a power cut between midnight and 7am on the 2nd night. It was impossible to turn either off until they both ran out of power some 3 hours later despite the staff trying to do so. Alarm became louder and more frequent so it was impossible to sleep until after 3am. While the power cut is not the hotel's fault, the functioning of the alarm is and it was very unpleasant in the circumstances, preventing anywhere near a good night's sleep. Plus it looked like it was a planned power cut based on online information so they could have informed us ahead of time to make preparations.

An exceptional hotel located in the historic district of Rome, walking distance to some key sites like the Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Exceptional check in, surprisingly large room, clean bathroom, comfortable large bed. Plenty secure with government building located next door. Awesome breakfast included. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Stronly recomment to Rome travelers.

The staff was amazingly helpful. The rooms were sparkling clean. We loved being near the square. We could open our window and here the sounds of people enjoying themselves. Plenty of shopping and dining at the base of the steps leading to the hotel.

The location is absolutely convenient and in the middle of the downtown. From the distance either by ferry or bus, you can easily spot (especially for first timers) where to find the location by looking up the tower of the Basilica Cathedral of Amalfi. It is right across it. That’s just one part, the other part is the wonderful staff accommodation (look for Rita, I think her last name is: the Best). Very helpful and usually accommodate in all reasonable requests. I would book there again if I’m back in Amalfi.

Terrazza Duomo is a charming, sleek hotel overlooking the main piazza in Amalfi. Balconies with the best views in the city…and that same breathtaking view in the restaurant. Lovely with a full bar and coffee made to order in the morning. I highly recommend the breakfast. Modern and historical, a small number of rooms. Get yours now! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We felt welcome, safe and and peaceful with the beautiful surroundings. The host made us a delicious homemade ravioli with fresh salad on arrival😊 It was a good walk to the townsite, but we already hiked the Path of Gods which was a bit tiring with heavy packs. We slept great here! Thanks so much!
