The room itself was clean and provided outdoor seating at the unit. Asked about laundry facilities but told not operating. BBQ area not useable, needed a good clean so couldn’t sit there. Pool closed. Facilities need to be available all year round.

Room was great. Office staff were good, friendly. I only stayed 2 nights my room got tended to on the 2nd morning but they did not wipe the spa bath out. Which I would have liked to be done, just a wipe as i had a bath and it left a ring around the bath. They did not fill the coffee up either. They only wiped my toilet and pulled my bed sheet up. But I had no do not disturb sign for my door. As I didnt really need a service. So I thought it was good they did check room daily.

Three nights was enough. It was noisy at times in the front and back. There was no breakfast. The washer was broken and it sounded like it wouldn’t be fixed anytime soon but at least the laundromat was a few minutes walk. The shower head had gunk on it and a dead moth was my shower companion. I did like the flow and constant temperature of the shower. Room was spacious and clean. Easy to walk around the city core.

Second time around

Still needs TLC but service was very good. They looked after my luggage for a couple of weeks between visits while my car was repaired. Pool needed maintenance... broken ladder but a good spot for a dip.

I didn't like how the second carpark was not accessible without the help of the staff to open it. That being said, the staff were very helpful in opening it. The price was good and the spacious and well fitted. Will stay there again.

Budget hotel

Motel was cheap and you get what you pay for. We couldn't find the switch for the main light until the next morning so made do with the bathroom light and 2 very dim bedside lights. One plug socket didn't work so we had to unplug the fridge to charge our devices as the only other sockets were at floor level, too low to be able to plug usb under, or in the bathroom. The room was comfy with a double size bed and a single. There was a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. It was adequate but a little tired looking. Water was nice and hot for the shower. The walls must be thin, we could hear the family in the next room and their battle to get their toddler to sleep!

Short stay but I'll be back.

A short stay to resolve travel issues (my car!). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and had a comfy bed, good aircon and a great shower. Generally an older place that needs some TLC for the little bits of maintenance to spruce it up but nothing to stop me having a safe, relaxing and quiet stay. The BBQ was convenient and the pool looked good (weather was too chilly to test!). The room was limited to tea/coffee making only (not that unusual) though - for my stay - a toaster or microwave would have been good, though shopping markets and many eateries are all very close. I'll be staying again in a couple of weeks with no hesitation.

No frills, this is a place to simply hang your hat or rest your bones. If you're looking for a motel close to city centre this is it. If you need extra comforts you should look elsewhere.
