This is a unique little motel.. not hotel like claimed. It is charming at first sight but don’t be fooled. This place is nothing but a scam! We stayed one night while oaaaing through. We literally checked in, slept, then checked out. We had two rooms with a $150 hold on our card for each room for incidentals . One of the holds released a few days later but a new charge for $300 occurred. The desk clerk informed us that it was due to a damaged door. We did notice a hole in the bathroom door the night we stayed but seeing that this is an old remodeled motel we didn’t think much of it. Well they claim that we caused the damage in which we did not! The clerk was extremely rude and refused to give us a contact to someone higher such as the owner. Upon investigating, I found a number from a review very similar to our experience( there are quite a few by the way). I left a message in voicemail and received a text right away claiming that since I left a threat I would have to take matters up with the legal team( all I did was leave a voicemail asking the owner to call me back so we could discuss the matter before I disputed it with my bank and left a negative review). When I received the text I then called the number back in which I was told that I would need to contact
Their legal team. I asked how to reach the legal team and they hung up on me. They obviously scam people out of money by doing this frequently.. and I will continue to make the public aware!
