The room was clean, with a great balance of modern and "frozen in time" style. The drive to White Sands was easy from here, and we got our sand boards for free from the Desert Aire.

Breakfast was great, but there was no decaf coffee and the hot water for tea was not hot. Had to drive all over town looking for decaf coffee. Not too happy about that. Everything else was great

I was duped by the 8.8 rating into thinking this was a regular place. While I was delighted that they allowed dogs, were value priced & the check in was great, that’s where my positive remarks stop. This is an old motel with some lipstick on a pig updates. My room, while cleaned from the last occupants, felt grungy from age. The WiFi didn’t work, my towels were damp, and there was 1 bar of soap for the sink & shower. If price is your primary concern, this’ll probably work. It in no way matched what I was expecting for the ratings by other guests.

I arrived and was greeted. The door key didn’t work so I walked over to the office and she gave me another. Very nice lady and didn’t get her name. She fixed the problem right away. I always stay here when passing through alamagardo, since my son was stationed here 2 years ago. Highly recommend. And breakfast is always good too!

Staff is very nice and accommodating. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for luxury then this is not for you, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in a budget this is great. Free breakfast was delicious and wait staff very helpful.
