Sure, you could spend the whole time just in Aladrén, but you'd be missing out. For even more epic memories, you've gotta check out the wider Aragon region. Old towns are some well-known attractions that should be on your gotta-see list. If gorgeous landscapes are more your thing, make a date with Mother Nature and roam around Aladrén's forests, rivers, streams and lakes. Those with a serious appetite for adventure can also go skiing in this corner of Spain.

Zaragoza is another place where you can sit back and make friends with the room service menu. Located 50 kilometres northeast of Aladrén, it's where you'll discover the Roman Theatre and Plaza del Pilar. Zaragoza accommodation options are the Hotel Palafox and Reina Petronila. 50 kilometres to the northeast of Aladrén you can also stay at Pastriz, home to the Hotel Alfinden and Hotel Chané. While in Pastriz, set aside a little time to visit Ermita Virgen de la Pena de Alfajarin and Alfajarin Castle.

I stayed in March 26, which was off-season so probably cheaper than normal. For the price I paid it was very good value value. It was a lovely walled village with lots of history. The hotel had everything I needed. The rooms were a good size. They also include included in a fridge which is good. Breakfast was good. And the menu del dia was good value. Albert was excellent. He allowed me to park my motorbike near the front door which was excellent for security. If in the area I would stay again.
